Eco Camp Activities
Wild Hudson Valley is far more than a campground. Eco Camp guests enjoy to a wide array of amenities and experiences, ensuring a comfortable and truly immersive stay.

Get out your fishing gear and wander along the cool, forested Jan de Bakker's Kill or deep, sunny Catskill Creek

Relax! Dip your toes in the water, swing back and forth under the shade of an ancient sycamore, and enjoy the glittering of fireflies over the meadow at night
Campsite Options
With only four campsites on the entire property, Eco Camp guests are guaranteed a private and personalized stay. Two of our campsites have furnished, glamping-style bell tents, and two sites are traditional bring-your-own tent sites. All four campsites include:

Admission for two people for all on-site public programs, plus our guest-only Friday Night Fire

Private covered dining pavilion with a picnic table and four electric outlets, and a cabinet for food storage*

Private fire pit with an adjustable grill

Seasoned firewood for your entire stay

Grilling Kit: matches, tongs, spatula, fork and grill brush

Morning Coffee with fresh local milk, served in the Nature Center

Conveniently-located bathhouse with three private bathrooms and two large, cedar-lined showers with changing rooms

Communal canvas pavilion with large fire pit

Use of our outdoor sink for doing dishes

Centralized compost, recycling, and garbage bins
*We ask that guests do not bring food inside their tents to avoid attracting unwanted wildlife.


Glamping Site Amenities
With carefully selected furnishings, our bell tents are like a home away from home. Each reservation automatically includes two people, and tents sleep a maximum of four people. Groups of more than four are welcome to set up an extra tent at their campsite. A small fee will be charged for additional guests to cover their admission to programs and use of the facilities. Glamping sites include:

Spacious, waterproof canvas tent with a queen bed, a twin day bed, a twin trundle bed, and two nightstands

Two solar-powered, rechargeable lanterns

Four-person enamelware dish set (plates, bowls, mugs, and utensils)

Cookware: 10-cup tea kettle, chef knife, cutting board, mixing bowl, wooden spoons, cast iron pan, tongs, spatula, grill fork, and grill brush
Glamping Extras
To ensure a comfortable nature experience for our guests, we can provide the following extra (select at checkout):

Linens/Bedding and Towels: Leave the sleeping bags at home! Enjoy organic cotton/bamboo sheets, comforters, pillows & towel sets (includes bath towels, hand towels & washcloths).
Traditional Tent Site Amenities
Our bring-your-own tent sites have ample soft grass for setting up tents. Parking is right at your site, so there is no need to lug equipment back and forth from your car. Each reservation automatically includes two people, and each site accommodates up to eight people. Extra guests pay a small fee to cover their admission to programming and general use of the facilities.
Camping Extras
Maximize your downtime by adding some additional comforts to your reservation. All four of our sites can add the following items at checkout (subject to availability):

Popcorn Making Kit: Make your own campfire popcorn! We provide delicious heirloom popcorn (sometimes grown on our farm), an old-fashioned campfire popcorn popper, salt and Hudson Valley organic sunflower oil.

Cooler: Arrive at your campsite to find a large cooler (or two!) already full of ice!

Camp Chairs: Relax in transportable, comfortable camp chairs that fold up for trips to the creek.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my dog (or other pet)?
For the longevity of our tents and the benefit of fellow campers and wildlife, we (sadly) can not allow dogs or other pets in the campground.
What are your rates?
Glamping Sites start at $195 per night and Traditional Tent Sites start at $95 per night. Eco Camp programs are designed as weekend getaways, and reservations have a two-night minimum. Each reservation includes admission for two people to all on-site public programs, plus our guest-only Friday Night Fire. Larger families/groups may bring and set up additional tents at their campsite to accommodate a maximum of eight people per site. Additional guests are charged at a rate of $35/night to cover admission to programming and use of the Eco Camp facilities. You can see all pricing details on our Site Reservations page.
When are you open?
The Eco Camp opens Memorial Day weekend and weekend programs run through the summer months. Our closing is typically Labor Day weekend.
Can I book all four sites for a private event?
Certainly! We love hosting retreats, reunions, and other private events. On days when we don't have overnight guests, we can also host private events or rent out the property for a photo or video shoot. For availability, give us a call at 518-469-1258 or email at whv@wildhudsonvalley.com.
