About the Event
Join us for a morning exploration of local bird life! By late May, the majority of both our resident and summer breeding bird species have chosen their territories and nesting sites and are busy raising their families. We'll identify birds by sight and sound through the lens of Northeastern Indigenous bird names and folklore. Because we will traverse a variety of habitats, including meadow, mature forest, and the rocky shores of a large creek, please bring good walking shoes. And binoculars if you have them!
Advance registration for this event is required, and space is limited. However, admission for this event is included in an Eco Camp reservation! Book a Weekend Stay to take a deep dive into Northeastern Native culture!
