On our Saturday morning walks, visitors learn how Hudson Valley indigenous people thrived on these lands and how we can thrive on them today with sustainable agricultural practices. This is a gentle, two-hour long walk through forest, wetland, and field, including a tour of our agroforestry operations and medicinal herb farm. We will explore topics ranging from Mohican plant names to wild-simulated native herb cultivation. Don't forget to wear comfortable walking shoes!
